OCTOBER 11, 2015. SUNDOWN. WALK.

In Albuquerque, the trees don’t go gold all of a sudden, instead the green dulls, a yellowish hue appears, and then one day they all fall down.

THE SANDIA (WATERMELON) MOUNTAINS WERE ESPECIALLY JUICY THIS EVENING.

  1. I did kind of miss the intense leaf colors when I lived in ABQ, but there are always the Aspens. I read about a valley someplace in New Mexico that had some maple trees and others usually found in the East…now where was that? You could seek out the colors there, perhaps. Some maples here are already red/gold in color and others are starting to turn, but not a big show yet. You want me to send you some leaves???
