OCTOBER 10, 2015. STUFF.

I became acquainted with my classes today instead of walking. Good for my sense of organization, bad for my head and body. Very happy with my classes however; part of the UCLA Certificate in Creative Nonfiction Writing Program. This program has forced/encouraged me to start my book which is a few (two) chapters underway and finally feels real.

Tables are a bit of an obsession with me apparently–but only the IKEA kind so it’s not an expensive habit. I have a shiny red one I quite love and have moved it to a location against a green wall. My version of grown-up playing-house is releasing objects I like from their trunk and arranging them for my viewing pleasure. Here’s today’s photo.

CRAZY RED LAMP FROM A CALIFORNIA COMPANY, BUDDHA FROM THE GREAT WALL, GREEN AND RED BOX FROM ST. PETERSBURG, BOWLS I MADE WHEN SARA AND I WENT TO THE POTTERY PLACE, CANDLE LAMP FROM CA PLACE, BOWL FROM NAMIBIA, TOOTHPICK HOLDER FROM DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. THERE YOU HAVE IT–THE RED AND GREEN COLLECTION THAT’S NOT NEW MEXICO CHILE.
