I cheated. The plan is to post one photo I HAVE TAKEN every day of October. Whoops. The photo just posted of my grandchildren was taken by a professional photographer. But then any chance…pictures…grandchildren…

Now here’s a photo I did take in the Viking Ship Museum in Oslo. Not a special old Viking pot, just a regular raggedy old Viking pot. Nice photo though for some reason. Also the new heading will be of old Viking wood or something else from the museum. Back to Albuquerque tomorrow.

  1. Artifacts are always interesting. I can imagine touching this pot (don’t let the guard see) and feeling a faint bit of energy from people who used this pot in their daily life. When I visited Lincoln’s cottage in Washington, there was a part of the original floor upstairs…and you felt “this is where President Lincoln walked…so there is that connection to history to the lives of people long gone, but still remembered.
