WORDS AND PICTURES
JUST OUTSIDE OF SIOUX FALLS A FEW YEARS AGO.
I have another blog. PLATFORMS OF WORDS…for my trains of thought, a name too clever by half (which means too smart [or smarty-pants] for its own good).
It has been a place to write about books and classes and media—wordy things…in other words.
PLATFORMS is moving here. You see I have too many blogs. Silly me. I thought creating a new blog was like buying the perfect new notebook. It is not. A notebook can be cleverly concealed in a desk drawer so no one knows if you never write in it. A blog, on the other hand, just sits out there for everyone to see…and realize you rarely update it. Why is that they will wonder? Tongue-tied? Lazy? Irresponsible?
Since I don’t want to throw away the deathless prose I’ve already posted (you never know when someone is going to want to read a book review of Lawrence In Arabia or Siberian train journeys). PLATFORMS will now reside as a heading category on this more active blog Today X 365 (marjorieneset.com). Just click it in the heading and…voila…the book reviews and related wordy topics will appear.
When I feel compelled to write about media of any kind I will post the pieces to either TIME AND PLACE (mneset.me) or here at Today X 365 (marjorieneset.com). These are my forever- active blogs. Until They Are Not.
I do change things a lot. Here’s what Ralph Waldo Emerson said about that. A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds. I Do Not Want To Have A Little Mind.
