FIRST DUCK (AND GOOSE) ALBUM OF 2015

Have I mentioned the Bosque and Tingley Beach are the very best things about Albuquerque, New Mexico. I always think fondly of Mayor Marty Chavez when I walk here. And given what we know about Copland it’s hard to think well of any mayors. But this is just pure good. Okay, so I’ve posted similar photos a million times but it makes me happy to walk here and take pictures so what the heck…

Hey Minnesota people, this is Sunday morning fishing in New Mexico. No walleye in sight.

And you can't eat these ducks. They wouldn't taste like walleye anyway.

New Mexico has early spring flowers too. Or whatever they are.

Gotta have dead leaves, branches against blue sky...it's who we are.

  1. Did you do this today? If so, we did the same things together, except 2,000 miles apart. I went to Bombay Hook today and spent many hours there. It was also the first real warm day in many weeks, about 50 degrees. It was just a perfect day for looking at ducks and walking the trails and observing the light and the trees against the sky and clouds. I hope your day as as nice as mine. we have some of the same ducks: Canadas and Mallards…..

    • Tom, yes today. Why didn’t you call me, we could have walked together. Skyping or something. Anyway, yeah, how lovely it is out there. Would like a bit more early spring moisture but not to happen here. Cheerio.
