It’s All Good


A Good Friday. Air softened with a bit of evening overcast. Found my Terry Allen CD of “Lubbock (on Everything)” for my drive to Lubbock tomorrow…it will be the theme of the road and a post or two. Had a perfectly brilliant conversation with Miss Teresa the California granddaughter about grad school, and LA, and work, and friends, and life. Love that girl. How is it that my grandchildren are so amazing and interesting and special… Oh, you say, so are your grandchildren. It is very possible that this is simply the role of grandchildhood–to be awesome for the kindly old grandparents. Anyway that was fun. AND to top it all off, I found a Gertrude Stein poem I love, at least I love it when I read it aloud. I would try to include it here but WordPress doesn’t like to format poetry so I won’t.
