Woke up at 3:30 am, cranky, stressing about blogs and my burning eyes, blaming it all on the parched land in which I live. Then I walked in the chilly dawn and met a cat by the light of the full moon…and remembered my vow to love New Mexico again…and did.

    you were up at 3:30 am? And went for a walk? This does not compute with me. Way too early. I wake around 6:30 and am then ready for my walk by 7:15 or so. That is early enough for me. Your pictures are soft, like early morning is soft, if you know what I mean. I have been away so long I can not connect with the area, foreign to me, now. I hope that you will continue being enchanted by New Mexico because I am hoping that New Mexico is the next place we will live and it sure would be even nicer if you are there.
